I get these types of inquiries from time to time: “Hello! Do you have any availability in the next week or so? We didn’t think we wanted newborn photos, but now that our baby is here, we want to book!” This was the kind of message I got when Talia was born, and it made me smile.

I made some space on my calendar and the photo session happened within the week. This family was a dream to work with. Smiles came so easily, their home was so peaceful, and their daughter was one of those stunningly beautiful newborns. I’m so glad they reached out and I was able to do their newborn photoshoot in Lafayette.

While the best time to reach out about a newborn session is a few months ahead of your due date, it’s never too late. I am almost always able to make space on my calendar and would love to help you capture the most precious details and moments of those first days!
